International pop sensation Blackpink have been chosen as Time magazine’s 2022 Entertainer of the 12 months, making the four-woman band the second Okay-pop artists to earn the title, after BTS in 2020.
Chosen by YG Leisure, a big South Korean document label that screens performers for star high quality and trains them intensively, the quartet – Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa and Rosé – discovered worldwide stardom shortly after their 2016 debut.
